Home Energy Navigator | CRD
My second brand identity project at the Capital Regional District. It was an absolute pleasure to work the the CRD’s Climate Action team again. The logo design process was fast-paced and took many rounds of meetings and revisions from both the Climate Team leaders and Coorporate Communications, but quickly we landed on a design that everyone felt captured the program’s message.
The Home Energy Navigator is a Climate Action Team initiative in collaboration with City Green that helps residents of the capital region navigate home energy upgrades and their associated rebates.
The logo, shaped like a home, is segmented into three left, right, and bottom sections, meant to represent heating, cooling, and the foundation of the house. Nestled in the centre is a navigation arrow to let you know you’ll be guided on this new energy-upgrade journey you’re embarking on.
Home energy upgrade icons were also developed to provide an alternative option for advertising, and to apply to collateral like mugs, notepads etc.
Project included:
Print and digital advertising
Engagement with local vendors to print signs, posters, tents and banners.
Collateral including notepads, mugs, shirts, magnets, business cards, post cards, and information brochures.
Collaboration with a local photographer to capture new photos of staff and program participants.
